Officers Who Understand a Jobsite
Every Officer completes OIP 1 and OIP 2 before a post, covering lawful authority, the Task Priority Continuum, hazard awareness, and reporting. Coverage is usually a Gate or On-site Officer during build hours plus Mobile Patrol laps after the crews leave, with alarms and after-hours callouts handled by our 24/7 Emergency Services line.
Need Fire Watch Instead?
Fire Watch is its own service with its own code requirements. If a sprinkler or alarm system is impaired, or hot work requires a continuous watch, go straight to Emergency Fire Watch — certified Officers, NFPA and IFC patrol intervals, and the continuous logs an inspector will ask to see.

- A construction site Security Officer controls the gate during active build hours, verifies contractors and deliveries, patrols the perimeter and material laydown areas overnight and on weekends, photographs equipment and containers each shift, deters trespass and illegal dumping, and submits a written report the General Contractor can act on.
- Do you provide overnight jobsite Patrols instead of a full-time Officer?
- Yes. Many projects start with randomized overnight and weekend Mobile Patrol laps, which is the lowest-cost way to cover a site. Once material value on site increases or theft becomes repetitive, Clients usually move to a dedicated On-site Officer for the high-risk hours.
- How much does construction site security cost?
- Cost depends on the number of hours, whether coverage is a fixed post or Patrol laps, and how many gates or structures need to be checked. We walk the site, write post orders around the actual risk, and quote in writing — no guessing from a map.
- Can you control gate access and log deliveries?
- Yes. Gate Officers verify subcontractors against your approved list, log delivery trucks in and out, keep unauthorized vehicles off the pad, and record who was on site and when — a record that matters when tools or materials go missing.
- Do you cover multifamily and commercial projects during construction and after turnover?

- Fire Watch is a separate, code-driven service with its own requirements. When a sprinkler or alarm system is impaired or hot work is underway, our certified Emergency Fire Watch Officers stand the continuous, documented watch the Fire Marshal requires — usually deployed within the hour.
