How to Choose the Right Security Guard Company for Your Puget Sound Business

Verify Licensing and Insurance First
In Washington, both the company and every Officer must be licensed through the Department of Licensing. Ask for the company license number, confirm Officers carry current guard cards, and request a certificate of insurance naming your property. A provider that hesitates on any of these has answered the question already.
Ask What Training Actually Covers
The state minimum is a floor, not a program. Ask what happens after it: how new Officers are integrated, who signs off on their readiness, and what ongoing development looks like. Ask Who Supervises the Officers

Test Responsiveness Before You Need It
